Friends. Romans. SHAMthusiasts. Too long has this fair beacon of hope for acceptability of the passionate love between Hylians and the inanimate been without an update. TOO LONG. And now, it seems that finally we may have canonical proof that love, twu wuv, between a man and his sword can and will be acceptable. I am talking about this. Greetings, and Civil Rights
Hello all, I join you as a relative stranger to the world of SHAM. But I brought contributions! Unrest is getting more widespread... ----- Oh, they were quick to judge. Quick to laugh, quick to jeer. That dancing pair from the market town – yes, barge into the village just because of the Black King, why don’t you, then insult us – were some of the worst, thinking themselves so much better just because the object of their affections was human. Oh, sure, the Hero of Time was entitled to his sword, given the heroism and all. They’d been too scared to come between the Dark One and his lover. The Queen was, well, too queenly to deter. Even that damn Sheikah with the ruddy harp got along better than him, and he didn’t have the same lyrical prowess! But what of the little people? The people no one though of, heard of, who were simply ostracised by society because of where their love lay? Yes, it may look funny, but it makes damn good music and we’re not hurting anyone! Equal rights, I cry! Equal rights! Is that so much to ask? Changing times, people, changing times, why can’t we love where we choose? But no, as long as those big wigs up at the palace have their toys, we’ve to ruddy well go without! Love is to be without boundaries! Love is sacred, no matter where it lies! Sacred, damnit! The Beginning
"Gather around, my children," Sheik said one night, "and I'll tell you a story.
"During Ganondorf's seven-year reign I was aiding the then-Princess Zelda by pretending to work under the King of Evil. Eventually I became a trusted advisor to Ganondorf. It was in the sixth year, I believe, that I witnessed a sight that would change my life.
"I had come to Ganondorf's resting quarters late in the night to plant false information when I heard a very strange noise outside the door. Sounds of lovemaking, children. I thought that was very odd because although he was the King of Evil, I had never seen him take an interest in anyone - not even his other trusted advisor, Nabooru.
"I knew I should have left it alone and gone down to the commons to play cards with the Dinolfos, but my curiosity was so strong I just had to see what was happening. So stealthily I opened the door to his chambers and saw Ganondorf, the King of Evil, with his lover.
"He stood there in the middle of the room and looked down at her hard and shining features gently before pressing her love-button. ' Whrrrrr,' she cried out in ecstacy as she attached herself to her master. And I could see they were very much in love.
"I have never told anyone this story before, and I hope that it will be as life-changing to you, my children, as it was to me." And then he put his arm around the mailbox lovingly.
Two letters shuffled in the wind.
Letter #1 grew up to become a university acceptance letter.

[Fic] Woof Woof! Get Along, Little Triforce...
Wrote this for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.2) bandita for a drabble meme... I was watching the old Zelda cartoons for old time brain-breakage nostalgia when I noticed that whenever Zelda took the Triforce of Wisdom anywhere, she'd put a chain on it and they'd go off and have their merry adventures with the Triforce in tow like it was a dog or something.

Injustice!
"Mailbox" is not among the characters available for organization purposes in the Legend of Zelda category on Fanfiction.Net. I say we petition! Ladies and SHAM-thusiasts, I have made a groundbreaking discovery.
Sheik and Mailbox (in what some might regard a total paradox of both time and dimension), are in fact the inspiration for William Shakespeare's classic play Romeo and Juliet. It appears that the subject matter was deemed far too ahead of its time and due to peer pressure, the bard was forced to edit the text substantially. Sheike and Mayleboxe remained hidden away from prying eyes...

SHAM is Love... on all continents
 Following the birth of the twins, Plushie Sheik whisked Mailbox away to Thailand for a second honeymoon, where it swiftly adopted traditional Thai attire and was happy to pose for photographs outside the Nan National Museum. The twins are being cared for by Washing Machine and Zelda. Porkychu has not been in contact, but was last seen being consoled by Mini Mewtwo behind the bedroom door in England. Plushie Sheik in Pokemon Scandal!
NEWS JUST IN:
In the late hours of Tuesday night, Plushie Sheik was allegedly caught cheating on Mailbox with none other than arch-rival Pikachu.
Caught here in just his miniature Sheikah thong, Plushie Sheik was found at the foot of the bed in a compromising position with the Pokemon, nicknamed Porkychu for its rather fat appearance.
Plushie Sheik maintains the whole incident was coincidental.
"All I have to wear is my thong, my uniform isn't finished yet! I couldn't go about in the buff, could I?" He tells SHAM's reporter.
"Pi pi, pika pika pikachu," was all that Porkychu had to say.
As of yet, Mailbox has yet to comment.

New year, new pairing!
Firstly, I thought I'd let you know that the construction of Plushie!Sheik is progressing slowly but nicely; I aim to introduce Plushie!Sheik to as many mailboxes in the Ulcombe area a.s.a.p with the intention of also acquainting him/her/it with Thai mailboxes as well in May.
In the meantime, a brand new love affair to get your SHAM senses tingling.
Warning: This OTP contains a certain character caught up in the throes of serious angst and waff. Do not attempt to read if allergic to unoriginal proclamations of love.

Yay! Fic! Huzzah!
So back on September 26 (which was, indeed, my birthday - go me!) my bestest fwiend and Evil Twin bikun wrote a drabble, which she dedicated to our beloved comm. And, of course, promptly didn't post here, because she is a dork. But that's okay, we forgive her because we love her. Or at least I do, and that's good enough for me.
